Spills on the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence
At the 2010 GLSLCI Annual Meeting and Conference, the Board of Directors expressed their concern with possible oil and other hazardous chemical spills along the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence Region. WIth oil spills in the Gulf of Mexico, Marshall, Michigan and Romeoville, Illinois, the concern to protect the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence from instances such as these has heightened. Below are various documents that the Cities Initiative Board of Directors and staff have developed asking for assistance and guidance with the possibilities of oil and other spills.
