Overview of water conservation plan (under development):

In 2007, the Town began preparing a Water Efficiency/Conservation Statement which includes recommended actions to move the Town toward achieving desired water conservation targets.

Recommendations include water conservation education for residential, commercial, institutional and industrial users, exploring subsidizing low flow toilets and showerheads, water restrictions, and providing users with water saving tips.

The Town's Water Division has created a committee to develop water conservation and efficiency programs.
